Gas block handguard question

I havent tried it and I dont have the parts in front of me to try this so I will ask.

I ordered a Noveske 16" recon barrel for an upper build which took most of my budget (thats what I wanted to do so its ok). But I am gonna have to wait maybe a month on the FF handguards I want, but I am not gonna want to wait a month to shoot it. Can I use a handguard cap with a low pro Noveske gas block so I can throw on a set of plastic handguards for now?

You should be able to OK. Just get the gas block snugged up to the front retainer so it won't move around on you.

Cool. Its a pinned gas block so it won't move. I may try it until I can get handguards. Just wouldn't have a front buis.
