I have been bitching so much, that maybe it is my turn to say something positive... :)
I got barrel for AR-15; Shilen .204 Ruger drop-in 24" bull. It went bad with about 600 rounds, strange bulge in barrel near the gas port.
I sent the barrel back to Shilen in February - today I got replacement barrel for free ! :D

i want to know how that thing shoots. my buddy is into the 204, and we are thinking about rebarreling for a rapid engagement rifle for varmint cong at 300yds....223 just doesnt compare to the 204...
I have owned a few Shilen barrels over the years. Good stuff.
