Yeah he was probably blinded by the flash, and was just spraying...

His partner had an AK, what did he have? Seemed semi-auto too.

well semi-auto or not he wasn't aiming(shooting around a corner) which in my book if you aren't aiming your spraying and praying

Full auto M4, when he goes into the last room and clears it you can hear him switch to semi auto, then he eliminates the threat in that room!!

Most combat shooting is done on semi ... otherwise you'd burn through all your ammo in the first minute or so.
