Got a Glock that must be defective- finish is terrible and the gun has been babied. Any smiths/painters in N Colorado area that do Cerakote/Durakote? Any recommendations? Thanks.

If you want to make the drive to the northern burbs of Denver I can DuraCoat or MolyResin it. Is the firearm new? What makes you say the finish is defective?
If in fact the finish is defective Glock should warrant it-IIRC they have a lifetime warranty on the Tenifer finish.
I don't personally know them, but he seems like a cool cat and his work looks decent. http://www.cologunmarket.com/mkt/vie...p=18468#p18468
I posted a few pics before the server issues (bummer).
I'll post these pics again which will be relatively small but if you'd like to see more I can email them to you.
All projects completed by Blakes Refinishing Service based in Evans. Kevin is a good guy to work with.
SIG P220; noticeable holster wear; former LE carry; coated wonderfully.
RRA AR-15; clean finish, no issues just wanted ACU Digital.
Ruger 7MM; been through some tough times under truck tires (don't ask); new bedded stock; new trigger; removal of barrel scuffs; and finish.
Both the RRA and Ruger also had optics finished accordingly.
There is a guy in castlerock that's done a couple of my buddies guns and they have come out great! www.roguefirearmscoating.com the guys name is Greg.
Altitudes who is one of the sites industry partners does fantastic work. Check them out in the industry partner section. I have at least 10 firearms done by them.
