I did not.
I did hear that CDOT was instructed by the Sierra Club to close 36 and re-route traffic around that area because prairie dogs are sooo precious.
Na, not CDOT. It's all the tree huggin retards in Boulder that have no concept of culling and maintaining the population on a species that is out of control. didn't you all know? If it's cute, it can't be dangerous...
"If God hadn't kicked us out of the Garden of Eden, the Sierra Club would have."
I don't know who said that, but it is hilarious.
I think this is the time of year that the "scouts" go out to find new places to invade. I scared one at work in the parking lot and had to call wildlife for one getting in the main terminal, where you check in at Frontier. Not to worry, that one died. [Tooth]
Not road kill. That's TDYRanger leaving a path of death and destruction in his wake.
I never understood the long range P Dog shooters. A .22lr pistol would work just fine most of the time.
The National Zoo in DC has a Prairie Dog enclosure, so before we moved to CO, they were kind of a novelty. Now they are just ground vermin.
The babies are great fun they always offer follow up shots and hang out in flocks
168 grain ballistic tips will take 2 out amazingly if shot a bit low for shrapenal
