Mine always asks me if we can go look for snakes now.
Thanks, but we know exactly which rock underneath we can find 5 snakes at any given time. I've got similar pictures and video of my little girl doing the same thing.
Nice, My 2 boy's first pet was a ball python we got as a baby (they were 3 and 5). He has the not so clever but amusing name "snakey". The choice worked out great as he is their longest lasting pet (6 years so far). They make great pets for kids as they are extremely docile (at least the ball is) and are very hardy and forgiving and cheap to feed.
But they won't lick your face, and they gots no fur, and they don't wag their tail.....I wouldn't trade my Beagles for all the snakes in the world.
careful. those garters will bite. I know.
I remember when I was about 8, a couple of people were walking in the neighborhood with a large cardboard box that a fridge would be shipped in. They were doing a treasure hunt game for a party somewhere nearby. I traded two garter snakes in a bucket for the fridge box. (seriously, how often do you get a huge box to play with, snakes were everywhere for free anytime)
I doubt the snakes were on their list though.
No worries, we have a German Shepherd too, and a Ferret, my house is a flippin zoo. Dad sucks at saying no.
Brave Girl indeed!
To be in the same pic as you Dave[ROFL1]
My youngest just picked up a Ball Python. I am not the biggest fan of snakes but this guy is a pretty cool snake. Way cool to watch him chow down on a mouse.
Now his Singapore Blue Tarantula is another matter...............
Yea I'm uglier than the snake to her lol
