The stuff they come up with at TED is amazing...
That was REALLY cool!
There are quite a few companies out there working on Advanced prosthesis for vets that are amputees, that one is really cool! I've seen some that are "new legs" that enable running, flexation at the ankle, and even enables the user to kick a soccer ball.
All the TED presentations are available at TED.com. Totally worth watching.
