I am looking for a nice place to go camping this October. My ideal location would be secluded and would allow for recreational shooting.
GPS coordinates would be nice to have.
I am considering Harris Park, just north of Bailey.
Any suggestions??

Are you looking for a campground like those little forest service ones I see everywhere? If so, maybe around Woodland Park. Just to the north of Woodland Park are several. Close to a large motorcycle riding area, a small lake (if it's been refilled), the south shoot area, hiking areas (Manitou Lake and Devils Head), etc. Karl.
Look at my post about Kelsey Creek, the 3rd spot has obviously been used as a camping site and there are plenty of spots to set up camp and still be legal in your shooting. I'll be there this Sunday and can snap some more pictures if you'd like.
I was at Kelsey on Friday. On the way to the site from 285, at the top of the hill that you crest before you find the shooting spots at the bottom, there is a sign and a turnoff for Buffalo Creek and Meadows Group campgrounds. I've been there several years ago and both were very nice, not very crowded places. I wouldn't think you'd run into many people at this time of year anyway.
Both were 4-5 miles in from the turnoff.

Weston pass near SouthPark. Camping is great....spread out, small lakes and streams. Go up high and into the back woods for more seclusion. Some longer range areas are available.
