An Apology

You know with a certain thread that won't die regarding a reality show I realized that my comments regarding such establishment have been, well unprofessional at the least.
I made the mistake of allowing my personal feelings towards a particular individual interfere with better judgment.
I am a better person than that and I will trust that the work that leaves my hands leave testament to quality work than juvenile comments regarding another establishment and employees/proprietor.

To the great members of this forum I hereby formally apologize for said comments.

Seriously, I hear ya , and you da man for making the statement.

Trust me everyone here knows your services far exceed thiers and you more than most have a right to bag on them for it.

i completely understand , its hard to separate the work end of this site from the play . i find that when im about to really speak my mind ill first walk away for a few. then if im still heated ill type everything i have to say and the walk away few a few more . after coming back i read and edit then walk away again , usually when i come back the third time im over it or i close that window and go do something else .

i had a little spat with a former member and after the fact i felt pretty dumb . not only did i get a slap on the pee pee (via pm ) but i realized that i had stooped to a level that does not reflect well on my business . unfortunately being personally right or wrong has no place and does not matter when we count on these fine folks for business . believe me when i say its hard to stay neutral, passive and even tempered , without wondering if people see you as a weak person or a pushover .

ill offer you this mister burt , next time you think your gonna let someone have it or type something you might regret give me a call and vent . i dont care if you yell, cuss or hell you can even call me names i dont care . if it will help my favorite gunsmith out the please do call.

For that particular place, NO APOLOGY NECESSARY IMHO.

I didnt nor would think any less of you as a great person concerning your opinion of said place etc.

You still have my business when I get things in order and get back to buying firearms etc.

I don't really think anything you said was particularly out of line, but I appreciate the sentiment.

Good on you man. Although Its apparent we all pretty much agree with your comments, it shows great professionalism to call yourself out on this.

Just don't call me to vent. I'd probably get mad too and really start pissy-posting to whoever pissed you off!
