Small rant about Pantera
I was just talking with my oldest son about Pantera and the break up and
then death of DimeBag Darrell.
Im rather upset that Phil had the heroin prob and destroyed the band and then
that bastard who killed DimeGab. Also pretty upset I never got to see them
live and in concert. [Bang][Bang][Bang][Bang][Bang]
When I was in the Persian Gulf and having fun, when we were in the armory getting our
gear on we would rock out to Pantera and a few other bands, but mainly Pantera
to get us pumped for boarding ships and searching those roach and mice hotels. [M2][M2][M2]
At any rate, thanks for listening and I feel better.
One of my favorite songs of thiers

I used to listen to a lot of Pantera, but haven't lately. To itunes I go!

I saw them 3 times in concert, including some very small venues, pretty awesome.

Theyhave always been my favorite band. And dime was my all time favorite guitarist even before he was murdered. But I was alsoa personal friend of hi. I seen them at least 2 dozen times I'm this state alone. Here's to you brotha dime.....GETCHA PULL ( as I finish my brew) hewas truly a rockstar for the metalfan. He was never to busy to have a beer or sign something for a fan. The metal community lost atrue hero 7 years ago. May you live forever in our hearts. CFH for life!$!!!!
My favorite song is mouth for war

Huge fan. '5 Minutes Alone' is my favorite.
Phil was and always will be a dick, but I think he has some big regrets. He recently did an interview with High Times Magazine. And while it is still Phil being Phil, he reveals a little of his regret in part 4 of the interview.
If you haven't seen it, you can see all 4 parts here. I wouldn't waste your time on the first 2 parts, but I know the big fans probably will anyway.

TGSTK was the best! The whole album was thier greatest. I saw them twice, once in Denver (my first consert), with Sublime and Morbid Angel, the second time was in Las Vegas, they played with Static X and Slayer, great shows, both of them.
Its funny to me how all these kids now-a-days think Five Finger Death Punch is cool...hahaha. Maybe if they spent less time in the mirror putting gel in thier hair, lmao.
