Is there a chance that the flow of spam and the downtime are connected?
Several forums around the net were hit with attacks in recent weeks (for example I post over on 914world.com too and they've been down longer than ar-15.co was). I wonder if its spam servers overloading things and breaking them.
Is that post by the new user "Fuldbfgi" with no title that you can't open and read also spam?
As far as I know, it was just Foxtrot and the server. Not sure if it was them or not.
They just sneak in after one of these episodes.

I know others have deleted at least 10 other spammer accounts and I've nailed about 15 since we came back online.
They are hitting us hard now.
