IWB. I've tried so many different IWB I finally settled on the Kytac Braveheart. Absolutely love it! Carry a 3" Para Ordnance P12.
Crossbreed Holsters Super Tuck IWB is the most comfortable one I use.
Have carried an XD45 Service & Tactical, XD40 Service, G23, G20, SA 1911 Loaded, Kimber Grand Raptor, HK USP 40 and HK USP 40 Compact.
They are awesome holsters.
depends on the gun. some are IWB some are OWB. desantis, crossbreed, and custom made.
9mm EMP, IWB in a MS VMII. How's that for abbreviations
I'm too fat to use a regular holster comfortably, and when I have to put my pistol away at work or wherever I don't want to deal with a holster too. So I use a Beltster, works great for me, but you have to remove the rivets on your jeans on that side or it'll mar the slide. Even though I have a custom-made Milt Sparks Versa Max II, it gathers dust and the Beltster gets the use. It's actually far more secure than you might think.

Your trigger is exposed in this picture. Is leather the only thing that retains the gun? Or is there a piece of reinforcing plastic in the belt? A 1911 is the most safe gun in type of holster. I have seen a pic of a glock in this type of holster where the trigger was exposed and the gun went off. Luckily on the 1911 you have the thumb safety and grip safety also.
