I think that would fall under make my day since your life is threatened by the knife...... Could be wrong
But essentially he isn't really threatening you yet. Your dogs life is at jeopardy.
Someone breaking into my house with a knife is a threat whether he is going after my dog or not. As my CCW instructor told me and many others probably teach the same; STOP. THE. THREAT.Quote:
