$69,300 put into your bank account

He knew it was not his AND he knew who to return it to and choose not to. F him.

Give the guy some credit. At least he's decided to start trying to look for a job so he can pay it back.

I had something similar ages ago. Deposited my hard earned check in the bank and as I was driving away I glanced at the deposit slip with bank balance. Slammed on my brakes so hard I nearly launched myself through the windshield.

I had $20,000+ more than what I was suppose to. Evil thoughts crossed through my head but under closer inspection I realized THEY deposit my check in the WRONG account. I quickly went back to the bank and got it corrected. :)

I think the bank should be held 50% liable for THEIR mistake. Like if you left the bank deposit bag on the coffee table and forgot it and it got taken. You fault for putting it the wrong place..............

I know, and obviously he knew it was a mistake and should have reported it. On the other hand the banking industry is a parasite. The founding fathers fought over and over to keep the big bankers and federal reserve from taking over our economy. These people manufacture financial crisis to gain further money and power and I for one have no pity for them, so when they make a mistake like this that frankly doesn't touch their bottom line but will no doubt ruin this young mans life, I say screw em. Bottom line this guy deserves some punishment, but not a felony conviction, not like he directly stole anything from someone and the bank is the one who put the money in his account, they bare the bulk of responsibility for this incident!
