I was so excited to read Gawker today, after the election last night....sadly, not much crying there. I'll have to stick to Reddit, I guess...

End of an era. They don't write sci-fi like this anymore. His fiction was of emotion, hope, a future, and of humanity. Can't get much better than: Illustrated Man, Fahrenheit 451, Martian Chronicles, Toynbee Convector. My favorites were his short stories. He will be missed.

Great Sci-Fi writer.
The world is a little less.

I think I need to re-read 451, Martian Chronicles, etc. Rest in peace Mr. Bradbury. One of my favorite authors.
