Emergency CWP Permit?
Being just shy of 21 years old (20), ive done some research on CWP laws in CO. They do issue permits to persons 18 years of age or older called "Emergency Permits." These permits last 3 months and cannot be renewed if you are over 21, however. If you are 18yrs of age or older, the permit can be re-issued every 3 months. This "Emergency Permit" does not require any CCW training or classes. Does anybody know the process of applying for such a permit and what entails an "emergency?" Any thoughts?
-Thanks
p.s. heres a link to the statute itself

[roll] [roll] [roll] OK, OK, snap out of it dude!!! WAKE UP!!! [poke] Those permits are meant for things like domestic violence cases where you have a restraining order against someone that has proven themselves dangerous or a stalker. You DO NOT have a RIGHT to carry a gun in this state, and with the dems in power, we'll be lucky to keep must issue. But it would be nice. Karl.

i had a feeling thats what they meant. but honestly, the rolling and laughing was a little excesive.

Sorry, I just love the [roll] [roll] [roll] , they're just so funny to look at. Not to mention I have a sarcastic streak a 100 yards wide and a mile long. Karl.

The easiest way to find out under what circumstances your local sheriff will issue one is to simply call and find out. But Karl's got it right (wow that sounds weird for some reason ) [roll] [roll] [roll] [roll] [roll] .. they don't just hand them out because you want one or because someone called you a bad name.
