Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST) defeated in the Senate

A narrow victory was won by the good guys, with the Law of the Sea Treaty narrowly defeated - needed a 2/3 vote to pass. The bad news is no dems voted against it - including our two knuckleheads. LOST is a terrible treaty for the US, and puts the UN in charge of our oceans and waterways. The UN as far as I can tell, is totally corrupt. Anything good that is proposed gets vetoed by one or more security council members (Russia and/or China, usually). The bad news is it might come up for a vote again next year.
