Bank loan policy - Firearms

Does anyone in the Northeast do business with Citizens Bank or with Charter One in the Midwest? Do you have a credit card through RBS? A mortgage with CCO? All these operations are US subsidiaries of the Royal Bank of Scotland doing business under the general heading of "Citizens Financial Group."

Did you know their official policy is NOT to make loans to ANY business (or organization) which has ANY relationship with firearms? They consider gun shops or your local F&G club to be in the same category as "adult entertainment" and "illegal" enterprises (same list of prohibited loan applicants).

It may be the conservative banker bit, but I more suspect it is the usual PC garbage - Most of "Citizens Financial Group" is headquartered in solidly "blue" Rhode Island and CT - with an international aftertaste.
