Wow. Is that allowed?? Crazy..unfortunately I am a heavy Facebook user, but this is because my family and friends are on the east coast and its the easiest way to communicate and share pictures of my daughter.

There are around 1.7 BILLION shares that can't be sold right now- when they're open on the market, they'll cause a drop unless there's something to create new demand (which there isn't right now) or unless none are offered for sale (they're owned right now, just not able to sell- would you hang on to them, given the market trend?)
I think the whole IPO's purpose was for the execs to cash out... hype it up so you can get the most you can, don't care who's left holding the bag... notice the number that are leaving the company. (or just insiders selling their shares...)Quote:
