I finally got around to getting a safe to secure my firearms, I was wondering if anyone knows of a good, reputable locksmith or other contractor I can hire to bolt the thing down to the floor. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks.

Is it possible to do it yourself?
I lack any of the tools required for it and don't know anyone who has them. And considering what would be in there I would prefer a professional do it since I don't want to fuck it up and cause all my things to get stolen because I don't know what I'm doing.
A reputable handyman would be a better choice than a locksmith, probably cheaper too.
You can rent what you need at Home Depot or Lowes, and get the anchors too. Just go tell them what you want to do and someone should be able to hook you up pretty easily and quick. Just need a hammer drill, bit and the anchors. A shopvac would be nice to suck up the dust with.
I'm a reloader and bullet caster so I have a lot of lead. Being on my basement slab I just fill the bottom of the safe with ingots and bullets.
It does seem that you should be able to do it yourself. That's why I like modular safes. Even the moving doesn't have to be known.
