Relocated...
Left Denver last week for a new job in Shreveport Louisiana.

Now I know what you're thinking: The sign is wrong. Can't be 111.2 degrees. You'd be correct. The outside temp indicator on my suburban read only 109. But fortunately it is a dry heat (not - humidity 80%)... [Swim]

I'm sorry. Maybe you can go visit Will on the set of "Sons of Guns" - :)
-
July and August are not the months to pursue outdoor activities down there...
-
Shreveport ain't that bad of a town, at least you didn't move to Red Stick or Nawlins.
-
Wait until it rains for a week solid.
-
Dry heat- for now.
Down there it has a bad habit of raining for 10 minutes on a 100° day. You can always head to the boats though to feed the penny slots for free drinks. [Beer]

I lived there for a year, a long time ago. If it's still there, the Cross Lake Inn had good food. Also, Wallace Lake (south of town) had good fishing.

airborne, I'll visit sonsaguns right after I stop in to the folks at Guns&Leather -- aren't they both on the road to hell?
This is a good move. I lived here 98-04. I'll take the hottest day here over the coldest in Denver any day. There's a club about 30 minutes from my house with a 1,000 yrd range. The food is great and the people are wonderfully friendly (got called "honey", "sugar" and "sweety" this morning while out getting groceries).

Don't you mean you got this in exchange for cold & snow ? http://images.nationalgeographic.com...23_600x450.jpg
