Maybe NYPD could take lessons from this guy. LOL

Apples and Oranges IMO. Both individuals were shot by LEOs, but the similarities after that start thinning out.
The environment: rural road, no pedestrians vs busy city street, with many pedestrians and vehicles present.
The situation: lone officer confronted by another individual while he was issuing a ticket to a motorist vs two officers following a suspected murderer.
The results: one round to the leg disabling the suspect vs 10 rounds from two officers killing the suspect.
I will add, that all of the video makes for excellent training use for both LE and anyone who anticipates the possibility of using deadly force.
Even with the use of simunitions, nothing can recreate the very real conditions of shooting on the street against real live adversaries. Train hard, but realize that in the end, the results are rarely what you envision.
Be safe.
lmao, what the hell is the world coming to? First its zombies, now there are suprise ninja attacks?!?
A man's gotta live up to his tagline.
I hope Byte Stryke got out of the ticket.
I thought it was a fat white guy from watching the video, then the mug shot was a skinny black dude. I guess those papers on the dash obscured the footage more than I anticipated.
"The suspect was out on bond when this happened. He'd been arrested for trying to attack a New York City Police Officer…"
They must have run out of ammo and had to just take him into custody.
I have to say it...
WHAT A MORON! Never bring a knife to gun fight!
I like what the Sheriff said, was he justified in the shooting? "Absolutely, that is why he is not on administrative leave." Good for him, but that guy was not a ninja, ninjas don't carry umbrellas when it's not practical. [Coffee]
