The shortest upper you can get without SBR paperwork.

Ok, I know a lot of guys on this forum are really into the full length AR. And why not, they make a great hunting rifle and with the right setup can be made to shoot sub-moa groups.

However, if you're like me you served in the military. And if you're like me you were fortunate enough to be issued an M-4 instead of the bulky A2 M-16 rifle. After a long march in the hot sun, the lighter your gear the better. And over time, you began to fall in love with your shorter rifle.

Then you get back to the states and you're told you can own an M-4 type rifle, only the barrel has to be 2 inches longer - which makes it look goofy and a lot less pracitcal.

Well...no more.

Many companies have begun exploiting a loop hole in the federal law regulating barrel length. They are pinning and welding the flash hider to the barrel...which by law makes it part of the barrel.

The end result is a rifle that looks as close to the rifle you carried in the service as possible.

The difference in barrel length is definately noticable, and bugs many of us. You don't have to put up with that any more!
