Meprolite tritium night sights

Does anybody have any opinions about Meprolite tritium night sights on pistols, specifically 1911's? I can get a set, new and installed, for $125 and am wondering if that's a good price.

I put a set on a 4506 of mine,might have been my set I got but was not very happy.

I put Trijicon night sights on one of my ARs and it seems you can see a green glow when I open that safe.http://mywebpage.netscape.com/csbron...ges/cheese.jpg

i have them on my glock 17 and am happy so far.

I have some on my Kimber and they work well.

They are my preferred night sites on all my duty weapons.

So $125 is an OK deal? Doesn't matter, it's already underway. Turns out the set he had contained a wide-tang front bead, and I need the narrow-tang version, so he had to order them. Bummer, I would have had it back tonight. [Bang]
