So anyone think if a new AWB goes into effect will it cut NFA stuff as well? Looking to get a couple of things and cash is short but don't want to end up without the toys either.

There wont be a new AWB. Whatever happens it will be simple gun control.
Won't affect, say an SBR, it's already registered with the ATF.
They wont outright ban again, just make it very very hard for you to purchase guns, ammo, magazines, etc. along with more invasive background checks, possibly waiting periods again, etc. all in the name of keeping you "safe". Along with this they will make it harder for gun shops to do business, with taxes and fees added in the name of victims funds etc.
No ban has ever effected NFA stuff as far as I know. For some reason, NFA stuff is pretty well off the radar for anti-gunners.
Sure, there was 1934, 1968, and 1986. I am under the impression that those were direct attacks on NFA items and didn't effect other gun ownership, and vise versa for the AWB. However, I haven't read those exactly, so perhaps I shouldn't open my mouth until I have.
This^^^ I agree. They will make gun ownership more difficult. Slow down or stop the average sheepeople and leave only the "crazy gun nuts". As far as NFA, Irving is on to something I think. Time will tell. The up side to all this is I should soon have a much money as the wealthy people do.
Without an actual legislative text, these speculations are meaningless.
