Traffic

Sister and BIL were supposed to be here at 11:30 for a noon dinner.
They called stuck in traffic 20 miles north of the Springs. An hour later they moved 3 miles.
They just saw one of the lighted road signs that says 19 minutes to Academy.

My wife is trying to hold dinner and not have it dry out.

One dumb move and hundreds of people are affected on I25.

Sorry I was all set to eat at noon, now it looks like maybe 1:30.

that sucks, hopefully they get there soon

And the GF wondered why I didnt want to go back down to Denver with her parents. (Still where I think it'd be awkward.)

As far as drinking goes, sparkling apple cider only does so much. Falls a little short on days like today.

That sucks there was an accident. And on Thanksgiving, too. I hate that stretch of I25.
