Douglas County nuisance dog question on mediation.
My friend (I know how it sounds but it really is my friend and not me) is having a dispute with his neighbor over my friend's dogs barking. I don't know who's in the right or in the wrong but I know they don't like each other and I'm sure that may have something to do with it. He lives in Highlands Ranch and it's not his next door neighbors, it's about 3 houses down.
The neighbor called the police on him for the 3rd time in a month and animal control asked the neighbor if he'd be willing to do in person mediation with the Sheriff's Department.
My question is; what is mediation with the Sheriff's Department in a case like this?
Re: Douglas County nuisance dog question on mediation.
Have his immediate neighbors write an opinion if they think his dog barks too much.
If they say no then he could tell the deputies that the harassment needs to stop. If his actual neighbors think his dog is annoying... well ..can't blame bias
