Ive looked at all the regs I can find on the web and came up dry. Did see some regarding noise but not specifically shooting. Im looking at a 30+ acre piece of land and trying to find out what would prevent me from building a private range.
Anyone know more than hear say? A link would be appreciated.
The projectiles (bullets) cannot exit your property under any circumstances, and it is a problem if a neighbor complains.
I know a guy where a neighbor falsely reported him to the local sheriffs that he was shooting at their horses.
Ended up having to show the sheriff his range and backstop and that there was no way he was shooting in the complainants direction.
As long as you're in the county AND there is no godforsaken HOA (you would be surprised) governing board you're GTG.
FWIW: That area north of mulberry east of link and west of timberline is county, not city of ft fun.

The area he's interested in has 4-5 berms up in peoples back 20 that i know of. LC providing you're not shooting indiscriminately and have a safe backstop is GTG Same for weld cty.too.Quote:
