I just heard 9 News state that the Sandy Hook shooter used an asult type rifle instead of handguns. I thought it was realease the shooter used a Glock and a Sig Sauer?
What i heard was he had a Sig and a Glock but used the Bushmaster on all the victims.
I heard he used the two handguns but the rifle was found in his car.
Initial reports all indicated handguns were used. It came out later, after the coroner released a statement that all (or most, anyway) victims were shot with a rifle.
Everything I saw overnight indicated ar-15 used to kill all in school except himself, which he used a pistol.for. the shotgun was left in his car. Fox, CBS , NBC etc.are.all editing their stories to.reflect this.
Putting a little cold science on the table... While I do not doubt the coroners ability, but has he ever seen wound channel of a 9mm at close range vs .223 at close range in a child? Then to the police, I am interested in what spent brass was found on the scene.
Unfortunately, the media reports what it is told, and I am not putting on a tinfoil hat yet, but when the initial reports indicated handguns, not sure how you confuse hand gun to rifle.
What shotgun? We've only heard of the rifle and handguns.
Initially it was the handguns with rifle in car. Later after coroner report and I would assume seeing casings it was released as being the rifle that did the work and offed himself with the handgun.

There is a lot of conspiracy on that. Myself given the political leanings of that area wouldn't put it past them to try blaming it on the rifle knowing the fallout. But then again unless they outright falsify stuff I think that would come out as untrue in the weeks ahead.
I think it's the media will seize on anyones comment and run with it. In high school a year after columbine there was a scare and a lockdown. I got stuck outside as it was my lunch period. One cop on perimeter was talking to reporters informally that it was some kids dad was angry and making a statement etc. Turned out it was a formerly smart girl that smoked her self stupid panicked at a guy with a cell phone and was even locked in the same room with him. Didn't realize it was same guy...
