One of the original rappers in the 80's-90's who crossed over into film and TV. His music was always about oppression and other society issues rather than the thuggery that has taken over rap music. He has always been a very outspoken critic of the government and politics and pretty much always gets it right.

I was going to say something about it being a good day since I didn't have to use my AK, but a quick google search revealed that would have been a rapper faux pas.
Regardless, I think Ice T is mostly correct, except for the part when he singled out police. If he meant police in a general term including all those who would carry out a tyrannical government's dirty work, then yes I would agree. But I get the feeling he just doesn't like cops.
Can't blame him...I'm sure he had a bunch of negative run-ins with cops when he was actually out doing the whole gangbanger thing. Wasn't he one of the original members of the crips or something?Quote:
