I encountered an armed security guard today at one of the last places I would have ever expected.....at the PetSmart store in Parker! I couldn't believe it! I asked the guy at the register WTF, and he said they'd "had a rash of thefts and were hoping the guards presence would help". Jesus, an armed guard in a pet store? What a fucked up world.....
Were children crying in their parents arms, and people running around scared?
I do armed security at jewlery stores. Its more of a second thought for a criminal. The store owner was more than happy to know that i wasnt going to get shot over gold. It worked cause they had been robbed 4 times the month befor i was there.
