We're seriously considering moving to WY depending on what happens over the next year in CO. Looking for any feedback from someone who has lived there previously.... The good, bad and ugly. :)
We'd probably buy a few acres somewhere outside of town.

My buddy lived in Cheyenne for a while- windy, boring, flat... that's really all he had to say to describe it.
My dad lived near there for many years ... his assessment was about the same as Ronin's friend.

Of course he was managing a bar in Wheatland (North of Cheyenne on I25) so he wasn't outside much.
No state income tax so that's a good thing. A lot less people and lots of hail in Cheyenne proper.
That's pretty much what I've seen going to meetings up there. I'm really hoping there might be some reasonable areas that aren't too far from CO since the Grandparents are in Denver.
Is Laramie any better?
Cody area is awful pretty though ... but that's not exactly "close to Denver".
Laramie is a cold bitch, plus the wind. Sheridan is really nice but nowhere near DIA
Never lived there but I'm up that way for work quite a bit. Cheyenne and Laramie are both dumps. Casper would be about the only place in Wyoming I could actually live.
