You can bet the antis will be all over this in no time. Not much detail yet, but i can tell you that good men with guns rarely let bad guys take them hostage and would prevent this garbage more often than not.

Mentally disturbed fellow with a history of issues
handgun or shotty on scene but it will be reported that an assault weapon was present overseeing all activities
neighbors will say he was a loner type who kept to himself...
I got stuck in the traffic around the scene on my way to work this morning. It's only a few miles from my house.

Do you think that all the media attention these guys get is prompting more and more attention hungry people to do this more often?

I own a rental unit at Hampden and Chambers. I'm sure this will do wonders for the property value.
