Active Duty Shortened BGC Waiting Period

I was up at Sportsman's WH in Colo Springs since I got off work early today. I saw they have a new way of selling ammo up at the customer service window. I was there at 1:00 and they had some .45 and 38 Special and 22 LR. My boss was there at opening and they had a line to the back to get your rationed 3 boxes. he said no PMAGS etc. Well I was at the counter at the same time a guy was buying an AR and I over heard the salesman say that Active Duty go right to the front of the line for the Back Ground Check process by calling them in!!
He was taking his home after a short wait!!!!
Does not apply to retirees!!!
So if you are active and delaying a purchase because of the wait you might want to swing on down to see what they have left.
Dont know if other stores are doing this but was nice to see this going on.

Military members that are not residents of Colorado have always had to have their background checks called in to the CBI. Nothing new, nothing has changed. Nobody is moving to the front of the line.
