Use of Undocumented

So with everything going on at the state and I would imagine soon tried at the national level I can't help but think that eventually registration and even attempted confiscation are possible. Can I just do like dems do with immigrants and say my firearms are not illegal, just undocumented? This way the government will just ignore them, right?
