Townhall with Jared Polis this Friday at noon

I'd consider my attendance a complete waste of my time. Polis is a far-left progressive pushing behind the Obama wagon as hard as he can. He represents Boulder, and his reelection would only be endangered by any variance from that.

Oh now that should be entertaining! Throw in a few students that have no idea what the issues are and it could get really interesting.

Quick summary about what Polis said about guns/AWB/UBC...

Doesn't support banning any type of weapon or restricting the size of the magazines. Does not support Feinstein's AWB. Stated that rifles are not the cause of the majority of crimes committed with guns.
Felt that the crime problems are better addressed with eduction and making sure youth have opportunities.

He does support the Universal Background Check, to stop the lazy criminals from getting guns easily.
