Not only for this country but for my dad. He has been battling cancer for 3 years now, he did great till January, pet scan shows esophagus and rt lung , along with the first tummer in his left lung! They give him 2 weeks to 3 months. Flying back to Ohio this coming weds to see him. Sad days for sure!! A great man , father, husband and friend to many. My mentor, my tutor , my confidant ,my friend, my dad!

That's a tough deal Geo, I'm sorry to hear about what you and your family are going through. Tell him you love him, and if you feel like it, tell him I love him too.
I hope you get to have some great conversations with him during your visit with him.

Sorry to hear that, my mom battles it and has been clean 16months i believe. But you never know when it will come back. Hopefully he enjoys his time he has and the pain is minimal! At least you get to spend some time with him, even if it hurts seeing him that way.

I can completely empathize with where you are brother. My father passed away on February 19th of this year and it was a sad time in my life and I'm still struggling a bit with the grief. Prayers to you and Godspeed. I was fortunate to see my father before he passed away and I hope you get to spend those precious final days with him.
