VA refuse to comply with NY law

ALBANY, N.Y. - The federal Department of Veterans Affairs says its mental health professionals won't comply with a new gun law in New York that requires them to report the names of patients they believe likely to hurt themselves or others.

But it's the law!

I heard this as well. Wonder how long this will last.

Probably untill the .gov stops sending funds to the NY VA.

So's HIPPA. Expect to see a lot of this. The flip side is knee jerkoff physicians who will do everything in their power to eradicate guns and their owners from the earth. Fortunately our docs like and or tolerate firearms.

The VA still enforces federal laws that do the same thing
