Sales of firearms safes
Sales of firearms safes should be starting to climb pretty soon. With the recent shootings, the lawful owners of some of the firearms used in some "mass killings" may soon be held responsible even though they did not authorize their kids or anyone else to "borrow" their guns. Here is something old Feinstein has in her proposed "Assault Weapons Ban" and although it did not recently pass, it will be brought up again and again.
"Imposing a safe storage requirement for grandfathered firearms, to keep them away from prohibited persons".
The imposition is that owners will be responsible for their weapons even if someone steals, borrows them.
With this crap on the horizon, I am kinda surprised that there has been no sensible response to my ad in the Trading Post where I listed a 15 gun safe for sale in the Parts and Accessories section. This post is not meant to be a sales pitch, just thought I'd mention the possibility really needing safe storage - again.[blaster]

I think alot of people look at it as "The lock on my front door is my safe"
-
I do not agree with any law mandating the ownership of a safe. However.....I don't trust my fellow man enough to forego owning one myself.

If you werent all the way down south I wouldve bought your damn safe already....
-
The term "permissive use" may start becoming used more often outside of auto claims.

Home Depot has great prices on safes.
Most are available to order online and shipping is either free to your house, or to the store and they deliver for like 79 dollars if you don't have a truck.
