Rest in peace, Harry
Harry, our Rottie, just died. We had a great day. He went for a ride, went swimming, took a nap, then was playing in back with a couple neighbor dogs. He was running and so happy then just fell over, had a brief seizure, then his heart stopped. We started CPR immediately. I did CPR all the way to the vet in the bed of my truck. He was gone.
I'm at a loss. He was in his prime. He loved everything and everyone. We're heartbroken.
Goodbye my beautiful baby boy. I love you. I will miss you so much.

That's how rotties are, playing and loving life until they drop dead. I have had several. The most life loving, suck the marrow dogs there are. I am sorry for the the hole in your life, but sounds like you should have no regrets. I can see he did not. Give another one a great life.

I'm sorry to hear the sad new! My condolences.

Man that stinks. Sorry man :(.

Lost two dogs suddenly last summer. Still with me.
Sorry to hear but I bet he had the best life a dog could ask for.
-
Wow. I didn't know Rotties could just keel over like that. What a shock.
So sorry about your loss.
-
I'm so sorry man. I only met him once but he was a very cool pup, RIP Harry.
-
Sorry to hear of your loss. Loosing a pet is just like losing one of the family.
My heartfelt condolences to you.

Sorry for your loss. That is a huge empty space that will never be filled. You will only move forward but will never forget. It's going to take a long time, I still have not moved on from my loss last November. I wish there was but there's not much any of us can do or say that is going to help much. I don't think any of us can fully prepare for their end when we know it's coming, you must be still trying to understand what has happened. Again, I'm so sorry for your loss.

Damn Jeff. Very sorry to hear of your loss.
It's great to hear that the two of you had such a wonderful last day together. We should all be lucky to have such a day as our last.
Remember & treasure your times with Harry. You can rest assured that he knew how loved he was.
Peace be with you brother.

Man's best friend for sure. Sorry about Harry. Sounds like he went out on top.

Sorry for your loss Jeff.

So sorry to hear this man!
God speed, RIP Harry

Sorry to hear about your loss. Dogs are so much more than pets, they are family. Sometimes I think my dogs understands me better than my wife, and I know she listens and minds better than my kids.
-
I don't know you or your boy, but I do know love and I can identify it when I see it.
Take comfort in your time together and how well you cared for your friend. A lot of dogs don't know that quality of life
If he could speak to you now, I'm sure he would tell you not to mourn him and thank you for an absolutely amazing life.
-
Absolutely heartbreaking. So sorry for your loss. Catch you on the flip side Harry.

I am sad to hear about the sudden loss of your furry family member. Pets become a part of our hearts and lives so quickly. Give yourself permission to grieve, to remember him with laughter and love. He left without being in pain, and passed after spending a wonderful day with his favorite people, both two-legged and four-legged.

Jeff, sorry to hear this news. RIP Harry.
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
