Pencil me in.
I might make it if I can hitch a ride with somebody from the Springs. Karl.
I'm hoping I'm on swings by then to make it. My grock still hasn't had it's COARFCOM safety check ;)
I may just barely make it. The company I work for has work weeks that go friday-thursday and I may be switched to the new site/schedule on the friday before the shoot. This means I'll be working back to back 14 hour graves wednesday and thursday and get off 7am friday and be back at the other site at 4pm to start a swing shift and get off at midnight. This gives time for sleep before shooting, which is good. Hopefully I'll find out this afternoon so I can go shopping for next weekend sometime this weekend. Hopefully.
Is organized (HA!) as this company has been lately, I'm not holding my breath, but I really need to get out of the house and throw lead at things.
lol, this makes 3 times now I'm out of town for this :( (nov/jan/feb)
in the continuing saga of wether or not I'm coming (aka wether or not work can pull their heads from their nether regions and get me a damn schedule)
I'll be starting training at the new site/shift on tuesday, but they may be making me work tuesday-saturday instead of monday-friday.
I told my supervisor (HA!) last night that I had specifically asked the client for saturday off (because this T-S crap was his idea) and thought that it was a M-F shift. They also changed the hours from 4-midnight to 3-11 which I guess is better? I dunno, I'm fed up with this.
Anyone got any computer geek/customer service without BS (as in the degree, but the less bullwhatever is good too) jobs available?
My travel plans to attend the SHOT Show fell through. I am in if others are going.
It'll depend on how much homework I have and if I can afford ammo.
Brian
5 more days. :D
Hmmmm, still looking for a ride. Any of you Springs guys planning on going? Karl. :D
Just took a look at the extended forecast, Not looking real good. Of course that can change.
Both ways.
At the moment, They're calling for snow on Friday, cold on Sat. 35-40*
Of course the forcast is bad.. The shoot is this weekend.. Schedule a shoot and it will snow that day..
Weather for Lyons, CO only shows a 20% chance of snow. I'm optomistic.
though, to be honest, pushing it back a week may make it easier for me to come. My schedule this week is pretty hectic but I should be able to make it as it stands.
i'm going to go to eagle firearms grandopening and i might head up to the shoot to get help in sighting in my iron sights... that is if the weather is not crap
Where's Eagle opening up?
I'm still hoping I can make it, although I should probably do the brakes on the truck soon. And if the weather is good.......and if I don't have a crapload of homework....

Is that some kind of superhero super power that lets you literally see into the future? :shock:Quote:

The latest weather report I have seen says sunny and a HI of 38. If that is the case I will be there. :D
UBERWOOT!!!!!!!!!!1111111111111111
My shedule as it sits (and will be, damnit) is swings tomorrow and thursday and a day shift Friday (as a favor for a coworker) and off saturday and sunday.
This allows me to go shopping Friday afternoon (after being paid early thursday morning) and get enough sleep before Saturday.
In other words: after 6 months of not being able to I am finally going to go shooting with Ya'll again.
Finally.
thank God.
Rain, shine, or snow, I'll probably be up there. I need it.
opps, time to re-schedule.. Just too cold..
Just Kidding, hope to see you there..
Last I saw, Mid 40's with sunshine.

Saturday through Sunday Night
Partly cloudy. Highs in the 30s to lower 40s. Lows 6 to 14.
that's for lyons, take a handfull of degrees off for up in the mountains.
the only problem I see is that 20% chance of snow was pushed back to thursday/friday so we may be standing in snow but that won't phase me a bit.
I'm sure Dozer would love a little snow to bounce around in. :D
Snowballs == free biodegradable reactive targets.
My wife and I pontificated a few weeks ago about going one further and building a whole snowman and shooting the hell out of it.
Then she suggested a snow deer and all that and we just decided to go to The Firing Line.
I don't know that I'm gonna make it. :( There's some things I need to do with the truck, and of course plenty of homework, plus I can't really afford any ammo but .22 right now, so it just ain't gonna happen this time.

Gonna be cold...burrrrrrrrr
Well, from what I've seen, It's gone from the mid30's to the upper 40's back down to 40* in the last two days. So I would say, Sat will be in the 50"s.
In other words, Plan wisely.
Karl, I need to get new tires for the truck before I can make a North shoot or I would offer you a ride.
Because trust me, even small children don`t like to ride in the back of the Firebird!
Sounds like my Celica. But ya know, I had a prisoner back there that was bigger than me once. :P  I'm not sure he appreciated the sardine jokes. Karl.
Sounds like the front is going through 12 hrs earlier than orginally predicted. Maybe there is hope for a nice day Sat. :D
Hmmm, still need a ride here guys. Anyone planmnig on going from the Springs? If so, PM me your address so I can meet you there. :D Karl.
lessee.... 3+ inches of snow on the ground now, I270 is currently closed between I70 and quebec cause of an accident but I'm sure will be open in the morning....
that much show on the ground and It's not likely to get above freezing tomorrow... Methinks it's gonna be a tough drive up to the mountains saturday.
I'm still up for it but I'm guessing we'll have to play it by ear.
Still no offer of a ride, and this doesn't help. I think I'm missing another north shoot guys. Sorry. Karl.
