I just heard the person arrested is 17!
WESTMINSTER - Westminster Police have made an arrest in the Jessica Ridgeway case.
The suspect, 17-year-old Austin Reed Sigg, was taken into custody on Tuesday. Sigg is a student at Arapahoe Community College, according to the custody report released by Westminster Police
WTF? A kid?
Now we get to listen to people saying that he should be charged as a minor..... at least we probably won't here that on this site.

If it's the right person I have no doubt that he'll be charged as an adult which is good. Unfortunately I think you're right about the outcome and it's a shame that's the worst that will happen to him.Quote:

I actually hope he doesn't get the death penalty. I want to see him put in the general population where he is gang raped and then hopefully beaten to death by some of the inmates. Fuck him.
(Assuming he is definitely the one who did it. Remember, until they prove him guilty, he is innocent of all charges.)

They claim he gave up his Miranda rights.
I don't think an innocent person would do such.

I want to see more information before I pass judgement. If he is indeed guilty, he won't be put in general pop.
Alls they have to do is match DNA and we'll know for sure.
I'm guessing that whatever they have on this guy is pretty solid for them to have made an arrest this morning. I say this because as of 7pm last night, they were still out following leads. I know because they stopped at my friend and neighbor's house yesterday evening and asked if they could search his house and take a DNA sample because he matched a description of the perp.
He let them do both.
I guess the arrest was made last evening. Even more convincing of damning evidence in my opinion.
Yea my MIL house got searched a couple days back, guess this pecker lived about 8 houses down.
