I get that he may still be grieving and not thinking clearly, but this is a special kind of stupid:

Ex-Boss: Virginia Gunman a 'Professional Victim'Quote:
Dan Dennison was the News Director at WDBJ in Roanoke, Virginia when Vester Flanagan was fired in 2013. Dennison says Flanagan, known professionally as Bryce Williams, had numerous conflicts years before Wednesday's shooting. (Aug. 28) AP
Just got a call from a friend, she's a reporter for one of the Denver stations. Last night just as she and a cameraman were about to go live she said a group of twenty-somethings walked by yelling at them. She said when she ignored them they yelled "bang bang, you're dead". Rattled her a bit, assholes are everywhere.
She's pretty good at situational awareness, her dad just retired from the Army as an officer, lots of combat experience and her step-dad is with a sheriff's dept. here in Colorado. They've both taught her to be aware of her surroundings.
Anyone ever seen the characters or mascots with the costume heads walking around amusement parks or sports venues? Because they have limited visibility most of them are accompanied by someone who is keeping an eye out for them. I would look to see some of the bigger media outlets begin sending someone out to provide overwatch for their reporters/cameramen. I'm not sure they will be called "security" but that would be one of their functions.

It is amazing how the victimhood crap has extended so far that people like Vester imagine offense at almost everything. "In the field"? Really? The only solution here is to push for Gun Control: if you identify with victimhood policies and are a liberal progressive, you won't pass a background check. We need to push for all liberal progressives to register by a certain date. If they don't, they get no-knock 3AM raids.
