They should have been forward thinking, and adopted some aspects of the earlier Renaissance systems while creating something "truly" new. Instead, they just brought the screwed up, late British system over and branded it as American.

Again, I disagree. Not that I don't think there are flaws in our system. But the real problem with our system is some of the people in the system. That's exactly what went wrong in this case...bad people, not a bad system. And finding out about them is a good thing no matter how you slice it.

Sessions recused himself of all this to avoid the perception of a conflict. We all know what The Conspiracy would say if Sessions cleared Trump--he stayed out. So the only law enforcement presence has been corrupt partisan hacks violating the law to get Trump. If the DoJ gets involved in this from the top down who knows what they will find.

The memo strips FISA protections from the compromised investigators. Notice the trend that damning (fake) evidence was leaked to media as the investigation was ongoing but the exculpatory evidence was withheld due to FISA? Now it's out. We now know Christopher Steele's motivation (Lib bias) was documented by FBI and he was fired. We now know his dossier was line item #1 in the warrant app. We also know the FBI used a Yahoo News story, written by a Fusion GPS employee, to corroborate the dossier. What else will be learned now that the investigators can't hide behind national security? These facts have been hidden from the public for 14 months while they worked an investigation they knew was predicated on lies the whole time!

I'm also reading scuttlebutt that the FBI's 702 forms were falsified calling much more than just the initial warrant into question (i.e. this is how they "got" Gen. Flynn). I still don't know what to think about Flynn because he took the deal, but we'll have to wait and see what happens.

We also know Clinton/DNC hired Fusion GPS connecting this firmly to the Dims. But look at the other dots that are being connected...

It's looking like DNC/Obama/Clinton built a public/private partnership coup using Fusion GPS, FBI, NSA, and foreign intelligence agencies/resources. At first to keep Trump from being elected (election interference) but then continued after the election and into the presidency. This is a shadow government! This isn't five political hacks breaking into a hotel during an election. This is a covert effort to undermine the Executive Branch and a duly elected President with a broad conspiracy.

Are we kidding ourselves that this isn't worse than Watergate? Respectable commentators are throwing around the words sedition and treason. We are witnessing the Dims burning down the country because they lost an election!

Let's pretend the swamp does nothing about this. Where does that leave the country? Are these the new rules of engagement? Because Republicans can raise a lot of money. If we could have simply written a check to rid ourselves of Obama we would have done it! I'd be happy contribute funds for a dossier about Hickenlooper, Bennet, DeGette, Polis, Perlmutter, or the next big Dim president to get them thrown out of office if this stands. What's to stop it?

That's exactly right. Watergate was playground stuff compared to this. I'm baffled that people don't see that. And, yes, Watergate resulted in the resignation of a president and almost 50 people either pleading, or being found, guilty of various crimes. This is worse if for no other reason than the implications it has for the survival of our very own system of government.

What's refreshing is how top GOP senators and representatives are now flat-out calling democrats liars. They've lied and obstructed this entire thing since it began.

Apparently hillbilly learned a few things from working on Watergate.

I'm baffled too.

The bold is what I keep wondering which is why I asked a couple pages ago what the endgame here was. I get that PantSuit was supposed to win but they've carried this to an irresponsible level after her loss. They easily could have covered up their behavior before Nov 2016 but now it's impossible.

There really must be more at stake for them then one presidential election/term.

They aren't going to be petty tyrants after burning down the kingdom. They can't call it a "democracy" when they've turned to Fascism (ironic given AntiFa) to overthrow an election.

The same people calling for violence are the ones who have been pushing gun control.

The statements made by the people in that video are those of people that are literally insane. You put the evidence right in front of their faces and they're still clinging to the "Trump is a dictator" narrative when he had nothing to do with this. It's just mind-boggling the way they're twisting this.
