I'm just lucky 8 year old son was dragging ass and didn't want to go to KS today @ the exact time this started (it takes us 3 minutes to get there from our place and the time stamps are all around 2:50ish),....If we did, it would have been a total different scenario...I don't know.

My cousin lives a mile from the Table Mesa store and his family shops there frequently. I was there only once last year but I always carry when shopping for veggies at Kings. (You never know about those killer jalapenos).
Many killers who go after innocents end up offing themselves after killing one or two or three people. I expect the shock, the moral consequence of what they did overwhelms them. This shooter had no morality left to contain his murderous impulse. A common characteristic of mass shooters is that they target the most vulnerable innocent people and they aim for notoriety.
