I guess I am in the odd breed which doesn't like them. Fresh milk, yes! I am busy trying to find new glass locally. :)

it prob has to do with my grandmother she always had a jar full when we came to visit
sadly im out for real this time
Have a good night!
Checking in once again. Going on 20 hours that I've been up. Final exams suck!
Worst part, is that immediately after my exam, I had to drive home, get packed up and head to work. No celebratory beer. And all this time I've been at work, we've been blizzarded out. Haven't checked the snow accumulations yet, but my guess is tomorrow night will be lost as well.
Checking in.
Checking in and checking out. We have 4-6" of snow, first of the season, and I just have to go make a smiley face on a building with snow balls. Be back in a while!
Have fun.
I take that back. The snow was all wind-packed and frozen over. The sidewalks were cleared with a tractor this morning and were all pretty clear, despite the 60mph winds we got earlier. There is about 1" of ice on everything.
Sadly, the snow was not compactable, so snowballs wouldn't hold together. Oh well, still fun to get out there and shovel some snow (even if it was only a few minutes).
NOCO, Represent!
Twiddling my thumbs, 3rd night (out of 4) of my workshift is more than halfway over and I have yet to do any real work. Blizzards are fun! Wishing that we were allowed to have beer on-site. Guess I'll just keep watching random movies on hulu.
So, who else is up and why?
Why not?
Wondering why it only took me 2 hours to get suspended on Twitter posting in the #nra stream.

Tongiht and the last 3 nights were lost due to weather. The humidity is at 94.3%, dew point depression is 0.8degC, blowing snow everywhere, lots of ice on the telescope building rails (we could open because the skies are crystal clear, but the building could get stuck on ice and then we couldn't close). We're way past our closing conditions, so we stay closed.
Luckily, we can call it a night 2hrs before the normal time when we'd stop observing, and thats only 3.5hrs away now. Just have to stay entertained, otherwise the night drags on.
Talk about weird weather. This is from the B Concorse Tower looking south. You can almost see the circus tent. The ramp is completely obscured with fog.

Dang! Awesome picture, thanks for sharing!
It'll be looking similar down here in an hour or two. Conditions keep getting worse and the fog is just starting to form outside for me too.
Now its completely socked in. I cant see shit.
Slow night, continuing to read and read on my saltwater tank coming toghether this week, Ferocious Mantis to come January.
Yumm.. green mantis shrimp and butter
Hey chunky, how did you get pixxar to do a portrait of you for your avatar?
I dont really know.. all I did was waving at some old guy w/ a bunch of ballons.
So uh, zombie debt huh? Sounds terminal...
Yep, easier to kill zombies than them debt collectors.
4 more hours of work, a little nap, drop check some 9mm then off to the range.
Not to mention, no one will arrest you if you kill zombies, killing debt collectors on the other hand...
My sister had some issues with a debt collector way back when, something with a cell phone company. They told her that because she moved to an area without network coverage, they would let her out of the contract without early termination fees. After she cancelled it, they tried charging her over $800 in early termination fees. She fought it like crazy and it ended up going to debt collectors. I kept getting harassed by them too, they'd call me saying they tried calling my sister's phone but the voicemail was "full". They asked me to give them other contact information for her. I always told them that she and I had a falling out and I don't know how to get ahold of her lol.
Thought it went away, but received a call from another one just a few months ago. They keep calling! So freaking annoying!
Talking about work, my biz partner snapped earlier today and fired a bunch of folks. The next few days will suck. /mini rant.
i'm up for some reason but my spelling has taken a turn for the worst (well that looks kinda right)
Pretty excited, I wound up with a larger tank and stuff, so now I'm free to go with the big cahone Peacock or anything in between. Actually got a free 6 foot long stand so I can actually do a second big tank or if I cant sell the stupid cube set that up as a 2nd tank for another small mantis, or maybe a coral frag tank if I get into that to pay for upkeep or dunno. (Though having fun trying to figure out how to plumb 3 tanks toghether as one water system, seems like adding 3rd makes you have to get 2 pumps with flow perfectly balanced.
Guess its that time again, checking in from under the blanket of snow. Last night of my work shift and I haven't gotten to lift a finger once to do work thanks to the blizzard! In all honesty, I hate shifts like this! There is only so many movies a person can watch without beer before they lose their appeal.
porn!
4G/LTE!!!
I work on top of a mountain, nearest cell phone reception is 16mi away. But thanks for going out of your way to get me access to porn.
I could go outside and do some of this [Plow] but frankly I don't feel like shoveling the snow right now. Might go out in an hour or two to help wake me up before my drive home.
Morale of the story, efff nights. Hated it, got used to it, having a kind of regression. I'm 27 and I actually grew a silver hair the other day. Wish I worked more like 8 to 4, could get home when it's still dark and sleep, getting off at 8 means I'm generally wide awake and need to be in bed by 2 or 3 for good sleep. (Aha good luck, generally more like 5 and 6)
Lately have had issues with sudden onset extreme exhaustion that cares not for how much caffeine I've had. Always fun walking down a hall looking like a drunk staggering.
I'm on the night crew, but last night was a rough one.
