Maybe he had and was prepared to face them. I lean toward the second option. I feel bad for Rittenhouse as being only seventeen, he will carry this with him the rest of his life.

One thing I haven't seen addressed is the fact that a seventeen year old was out with a firearm. Around here that is a serious no-no. Any word on charges his parents might face?

There tend to be few actual restrictions on under 18 possession of long guns. Fortunately, the stupid hasn't gone that far yet.

And the media is busy trashing the kid. He "may have" attended a Trump rally in January. That makes a person guilty of EVERYTHING we all know.

He also did some teenage recruit stuff with the police.

So the kid may like Trump and he loved police. Doesn't get any worse than that [sarcasm]. That's all the media needs to have reason to destroy him.
