Another way to slow the bill down and get more debate and information in both the house and senate.

I get the idea to make documentation that there's nothing it can possibly do to combat their percieved problem, but IMO, Vote on it, if it passes it will light a fire and decimate the Dem's control of the House and Senate. If not, then we don't have to worry about it for the moment.

They want to stall, but also they know that with the grandfathering of the mags it would be ineffective. But if they don't grandfather the mags it wouldn't pass.

This is either really good or really bad. Either it is a last ditch delay tactic because 1224 is set to pass, or is a way to avoid a vote for the democrat fence sitters.

They could introduce an amendment to nullify the grandfathering. ;)

I have a feeling it will be the same vote as 1229.
