I guess a tighter chamber makes sense. I haven't ever dealt with any real target type rifles so that isn't a natural thought for me. Thanks for the tip on the frog lube too, I made the switch a while back and haven't run my guns in the winter with it yet. Doubt I'll have a problem though...Quote:

I could not figure out what house it was. It was the street behind me and both times i walked over there the dog would stop barking. It was barking from midnight to 4am until i lost it and yelled as loud as i could to shut it up. I am not a happy camper today to say the least.Quote:

Went shootin' today, best 100yd group was .62". That was with Eley Sport before I ran out entirely.
Also zeroed my SWFA SS 10x scope. AWESOME scope by the way. Zero is PERFECTLY in the middle. After resetting the turrets, both Elevation AND windage turrets line up PERFECTLY with the "4" hash mark.

I'm practicing "wish you were here" Floyd and "turn up the radio" by Autograph. Vincent is pressing me to get it down solid, and we play it together, he runs a bass for the autograph.
Ya kinda gotta hustle on the autograph stuff, there's some busy stuff in it and lots on the upbeats.
I practice my own licks/riffs here and there. I'm not a rock star yet by any stretch of imagination. Gotta figure, losing 11 hours a day working, even in four years time (two with Vincent who is a much better instructor)...I'm not where I want to be, it really takes a lot of time. I've also spent a good bit of time learning theory and rhythm, so ya don't use the guitar for that stuff.
