Watched some of the videos posted. This looks pretty tough. Didn't register in time this week. I'm eager to get down there and try this out!
The least amount of times you would shoot is 2, what has been the most times someone has had to shoot? Also, is this one of those things where you can reload, but if you do you've pretty much lost, or is it only the capacity of what is in the gun?

By nature of the double elimination, you could have what happened to me my first time through. I entered the losers bracket on the first round, then had to shoot against the remaining losers who didn't eliminate each other, plus those coming down from the winners bracket. I think I shot something like eight to ten times from first in the loser bracket to last in the winners bracket. Then Sneakerd beat the snot out of me in the final round. In subsequent competitions where I've made it to the quarter finals, I've shot four to five times riding the winner bracket.
I never had to reload, so I burned through something like 80-90 rounds that first time through. I'd probably come with 100 to 150 to be on the safe side.
You can have 10 rounds in each magazine, regardless of greater magazine capacity. It all depends on who you draw against. Many of the expert shooters who choose to use 9mm have to reload. Get two against each-other, and it can go to slide lock on one if not both magazines. A talented shooter with a caliber that does a good job clearing the pins probably won't need to reload.
Just bought the detent plate to convert my USP Match from DA/SA to SAO. Going to see if the quicker response time will get me back into the quarter finals with it.

That's the exact info I was looking for, as I noticed that the site said to bring 100-150 rounds. Thank you. Sounds like a real blast!

I've never had to reload- shooting a standard cap 1911. Was using just standard 8 round mags for my first 2 wins, then went to slidelock once. Decided to bring a 10 round 1911 mag. So now I start with a 10-rnd mag in the gun and an 8 rndr on the bench. I won't be able to be there tonight, but I'll be there next Monday. Prob at 5pm.

I taking a break this week. No pins for me.

First match was really frustrating because my Kimber did not want to run tonight. Kept getting failures to feed across multiple magazines and ammo types. I was able to limp through four rounds before getting soundly spanked.
Second match I shot with my suppressed Sig 1911 and did much better. Ended up in third place over-all, and lost my shot at the finals by my last pin hitting the floor slightly after the other guy. Made me feel a little bit better.
I grumbled quite a bit last week when I missed my opportunity to sign up, but I do have to say that holding to the limit of 24 made both shoots go much faster tonight. Some very good shooters were also eliminated surprisingly early, and the vast majority of shooters tonight were in the expert class. I will miss next week's shoot for work, but I definitely plan to shoot at the one after that. Good times.

I should have said hi, especially when you knocked me out, good times.
That said these arrived today. Gonna get me some practice in.
